Use a lint roller or a piece of tape wrapped sticky-side out around your hand to lift glitter from most surfaces. For carpet, vacuum first, then go over the area again with a lint roller for any stragglers the vacuum missed. A dryer sheet rubbed over the area also helps reduce static cling before vacuuming.
